Bhavan's BVM Ashti holds Investiture Ceremony for Junior Council

NAGPUR: The Investiture Ceremony of the Junior Student Council for the academic session 2026-27 was held at Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti, on July 31, 2026. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Vandana Bisen along with the four House Wardens, followed by the Sarvadharma Prayer. Principal Vandana Bisen administered the oath of office to the newly elected Head Boy Aarav Sahare and Head Girl Zahra Faisal.

The Junior House Council comprised Lotus House with Captain Veera Bang and Vice-Captain Dev Gandhi, Lily House with Captain Sanaya Singh and Vice-Captain Aayush Kumar, Jasmine House with Captain Adwika Mishra and Vice-Captain Siddhi Radhwani, and Daffodil House with Captain Prabhash Radhwani and Vice-Captain Anaya Raut. The oath was administered by their respective House Wardens and Assistant House Wardens.

The newly appointed Overall In-charges also took the oath of office. Shivraj Raut and Shivanya Dhariwal were appointed as Overall Assembly In-charges, Naksh Purushwani and Saanvi Mauthapurwar as Overall Sports In-charges, Yuvan Assudani and Sanaya Afreen as Overall First Aid In-charges, Dakshit Nanda and Siddhi Meshram as Overall Cultural In-charges, and Ved Pandey and Arya Sahare as Overall Discipline In-charges.

The ceremony was followed by a Flag March in which the House Captains carried their respective House Flags, with Head Boy Aarav Sahare and Head Girl Zahra Faisal leading the Junior Student Council. Chandni Mathur anchored the programme. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Irfan Sheikh, followed by the National Anthem.
