Bhavan's BVM Ashti hosts workshop on Holistic Progress Card

NAGPUR: Sahodaya Schools Complex, Nagpur organised a workshop on Holistic Progress Card on April 24, 2026 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Auditorium, Ashti. The workshop was attended by Principals, educators and teachers from various schools.
Chairperson of Sahodaya Schools Complex and Principal of Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti, Vandana Bisen graced the event. The resource persons for the workshop were Pradnya Gokhale, Dean Academics of Kothari Group of Schools, Pune and Master Trainer for COE, Pune, and Varsha Kokil, an educational leader and Member of the CBSE Inspection Committee.
The primary objective of the workshop was to familiarise educators with the concept and implementation of the Holistic Progress Card as envisioned in NEP 2020. The resource persons elaborated on strategies to shift focus from rote-based assessment to competency-based evaluation covering cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. They emphasised the importance of continuous assessment, self-reflection, peer evaluation and comprehensive feedback for learners' overall development.
The resource persons discussed effective strategies to design and implement holistic assessment tools in classrooms, enabling teachers to track students' progress beyond academics.
Suchi Ralhan conducted the proceedings and proposed the vote of thanks. The NSSC team comprising Chaya Chaturvedi, Shine Augestine, Lucky Sadrani, Pallavi Chakkilala and Apoorva Pande worked to ensure the workshop's success.
