Bhavan's BVM Ashti students win Consolation Prize in Inter-School Dance Competition

NAGPUR: Students of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti, brought laurels to the school by securing the Consolation Prize at an Inter-School Dance Competition organised by St. Ursula High School, Nagpur, on August 14, 2026.

The competition witnessed participation from several schools across the city. Representing Bhavan’s Ashti in the Senior Category, a team of 13 dancers enthralled the audience with their graceful semi-classical performance, reflecting coordination, expression and artistic finesse.

The team comprised Ms. Insiya Akhtar, Ms. Maitrri Pathare, Ms. Ridima Rakesh, Ms. Tithi Pathare, Ms. Krisha Kotwani, Ms. Gargi Shewal, Ms. Sanvi Patil, Ms. Molika Choudhary, Ms. Hridya Kadbe, Ms. Rohini Jaiswal, Ms. Lavanya Chourasia, Ms. Mannat Belani and Ms. Daivi Tekam.

The choreography was designed by Mrs. Tumpa Joardar, while the team was accompanied by Mrs. Supriya Makde along with the dance teacher.

She expressed pride in the students for excelling not only in academics but also in cultural and co-curricular activities. She further observed that participation in such platforms instils confidence, encourages creativity and nurtures the artistic talents of young learners.

The achievement reflects the school's continued commitment to providing students with opportunities to explore their talents and develop their skills beyond the classroom.
