NAGPUR: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti, organised an Intra-School Science Exhibition 2026 on January 28, 2026. The exhibition aimed to ignite curiosity and promote innovations for sustainable development among students.

The programme commenced with a Guard of Honour by NCC cadets, followed by a Dhol-Tasha performance to welcome the dignitaries. The inaugural ceremony featured a panel of judges and experts: Vimala Jagadeesan, Parminder Kaur Narula, Dr. Deepali Borkhade and Dr. Madhuri Kulkarni. Dimple Juneja, Principal, Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya, Delhi, was the Special Guest.

The exhibition opened with the lighting of the traditional lamp and Sarvadharma Prayer, followed by felicitation of the dignitaries. A scroll was unveiled marking the beginning of the scientific endeavour.

The exhibition revolved around the theme Innovations for Sustainable Development, with sub-themes including Sustainable Agriculture, Waste Management and Alternatives to Plastics, Green Energy, Emerging Technologies, Recreational Mathematical Modelling, Health and Hygiene, and Water Conservation and Management.

Exhibits were presented across Preparatory, Middle and Secondary stages. The exhibition also included the Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition for students in Class IX. The exhibition witnessed nearly 2000 students participating from Classes III to IX. Certificates and prizes were awarded to all participants and winners.

Exhibits were displayed for parents on January 24, 2026, for students of Classes 2 to 5 on January 23, 2026, and for students of Classes 6 to 9 on January 27, 2026.

Hiba Quazi compared the proceedings and proposed the Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
