Bhavan's BVM Ashti marks Std. II students' transition to Preparatory Stage

NAGPUR: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti, organised the Graduation Ceremony and Launch Pad to Preparatory Stage for Std. II students on April 18, 2026. The event marked the students' transition from the Foundational Stage to the Preparatory Stage.
The event was conducted in two sessions to accommodate parents comfortably in the auditorium. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a Saraswati Prayer. Vijaya Patil anchored the ceremony.
Principal Vandana Bisen addressed the gathering and described the academic session's achievements, including Vigyan Yatra participation in science exhibitions, the launch of the E-Library and 100 per cent results in Class X Board Examination.
The Launch Pad segment introduced the newly appointed Std. III class teachers, who welcomed the students in preparation for the Preparatory Stage.
The Graduation Ceremony recognised Std. II students' achievements. Class teachers Neeta Meshram (Std. II-A), Gulnaz Ali (Std. II-B), Kalpana Naidu (Std. II-C), Sheetal Tiwari (Std. II-D), Kawaldeep Khurana (Std. II-E) and Yogeshwari Ginnalwar (Std. II-F) read out citations acknowledging the students' academic progress, co-curricular participation and overall development.
Swathi Keswani proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, staff, students and parents for their cooperation and support. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
