Bhavan's BVM Ashti students receive C. Subramaniam Award for Excellence in Character

NAGPUR: Two students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti were honoured with the C. Subramaniam Award for Excellence in Character on the occasion of Republic Day. Harleen Kaur Vadan of Std. VIII received the Group A award, while Aarav Singh of Std. IX received the Group B award.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan instituted the award to encourage the development of integrity, discipline and moral values among students. Each awardee received a certificate, a cash prize of ₹500 and a medallion.

Prof. Q. H. Jeevaji, Executive Committee Member of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Nagpur Kendra, presented the awards in the presence of Annapoorni Shastri, Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Nagpur Kendra. Annapoorni Shastri remarked that the students' achievement aligns with the values of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan including character, discipline and responsible citizenship.
