CPS (Katol Road) students Classes IX to XII attend civic awareness session

NAGPUR: Centre Point School, Katol Road, organised a one-hour civic awareness session for students of Classes IX to XII on 27 August 2026. Conducted by the Civic Awareness Club, the session focused on women's safety, cybercrime, drug abuse, narcotics and the POCSO Act.
The session was conducted by PSI Ravindra Bhoskar, WPS Nilima Borkar, WSC Rekha Kawadkar and WPC Sonali Ukey. Students were sensitised to online risks, responsible social media use, protecting personal information and exercising caution while interacting with strangers.
The session provided practical guidance on staying safe both online and offline and was received by the students. The programme was a step towards promoting personal safety, cyber awareness and responsible citizenship among young learners.
