CPS (Katol Road) launches Primary Curriculum 2.0 for Grades 1-5

NAGPUR: Centre Point School marked a significant milestone with the launch of Primary Curriculum 2.0 for Grades 1 to 5 on March 11, 2026 at the Katol Road Auditorium. The initiative aims to evolve education in alignment with the National Education Policy.
Director Principal Shilpee Ganguly said that educators shape a child's future and emphasised the need to continually evolve teaching practices. CEO Sadashiv Nayak spoke about the importance of educational design, noting that different learners require different approaches and encouraging educators to cultivate a love for reading.
Curriculum architects Dr. Natasha Mehta and Dr. Ashima Das introduced the philosophy and framework of the new curriculum, including the LRPAX learning model (Learn, Reinforce, Practice, Apply and Experience). They discussed future skills such as analytical thinking, creativity, adaptability, emotional intelligence and leadership.
The new curriculum includes elements such as Embark, Wonder Junction, Detour, Capstone Projects, CenNumerati (a structured Math mastery journey) and an AI Literacy Programme based on the UNESCO framework. The unveiling of the new textbooks, manipulatives and readers reinforced the curriculum's focus on experiential learning.
Vice President Operations Kavita Chopra acknowledged the initiative. The programme was compered by Vice Principal Jayati Chakraborty of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar.
