DPS (Kamptee Road) marks National Science Day with Grade VI-F assembly

NAGPUR: Delhi Public School (Kamptee Road) conducted an assembly on March 2, 2026, to mark National Science Day, presented by Grade VI-F students. The assembly aimed to create awareness about the importance of science in everyday life and promote scientific temper.
The programme included a speech highlighting the life and achievements of Sir C. V. Raman and the significance of scientific thinking. Students performed a song based on science and innovation, a skit demonstrating science's role in daily life, and a nukkad natak spreading awareness about logical thinking and the need to avoid superstitions. A science poem was recited and riddles related to scientific facts engaged the audience.
Principal Yogeeta Umalkar appreciated the students' efforts and emphasised the importance of science in daily life. The assembly conveyed the value of scientific awareness and innovation.
