DPS (Kamptee Road) assembly highlights sustainable living for Gen Z

NAGPUR: Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur conducted an assembly on October 16, 2026 on the theme 'Sustainable Living for Gen Z', presented by the students of Grade IX-C.

The assembly opened with a positive affirmation and the thought for the day with its explanation. The skit highlighted the impact of excessive social media use on students' behaviour, concentration and social relationships. It conveyed the importance of using technology mindfully and maintaining a healthy balance between the digital world and real-life interactions. The news segment focused on environmental issues and emphasised the need for collective action to protect the planet.

The Principal, Yogeeta Umalkar, appreciated the students for their efforts and emphasised the importance of making responsible and sustainable choices. She encouraged the students to adopt mindful habits and contribute towards a greener future. The assembly concluded with the message that small changes in daily lives can create a positive impact on individuals, society and the environment.
