DPS (Mihan) celebrates 80th Independence Day

NAGPUR: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at DPS Mihan with flag hoisting by chief guest Colonel Dr. Ivan Singh, a former officer of the Indian Army, entrepreneur, social worker and youth mentor. Students presented patriotic songs and poetry recitations.
Tulika Kediya, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS Mihan and DPS Kamptee Road, and Director Savita Jaiswal joined the ceremony online and extended Independence Day greetings.
The House Trophy and prize distribution ceremony honoured students whose dedication to studies and co-curricular activities was recognised. Each trophy and badge symbolised efforts towards hard work, discipline and excellence.
In his address, Colonel Dr. Ivan Singh said that the young generation would build a bright future for India with its skills and character. Principal Nidhi Yadav called upon the students to remain connected to their culture and contribute to nation-building.
The cultural programme featured a classical dance presentation depicting India's rich heritage. A street play conveyed powerful messages of social unity, duty and patriotism, which the audience greatly appreciated.
