DPS (Mihan) students win 30 medals at Thai boxing championship

NAGPUR: Students of Delhi Public School (Mihan), Nagpur, won 30 medals at the Thai boxing Maharashtra State Association Cup 2026, held January 10 and 11 at the Indoor Hall, Krida Sankul, Nanded. The achievement helped Nagpur District secure the Second Place Trophy for Highest Medal Tally.

From Class 4, medal winners included Siddharth Gaurav and Advika Tripathi (Silver) and Vaibhav Shukla (Gold). Class 5 contributors were Anya Kumar, Atharva Kaushik, Kimaya Zambare and Kailvalya Pawar winning Gold medals, with Kailvalya Pawar securing two, along with Aarushi Jaibhar (Silver) and Meetansh Satpute and Naisha Bawankar (Bronze).

Class 6 medal winners were Arhana Bansod, Prisha Kakde and Shaivie Bhagat (Gold) and Akshari Shenlurkar (Silver). Class 7 contributors included Zayan Chaudhary (Gold), Urvi Gadge (Silver), and Jash Pugalia and Prabhav Maheshwari (Bronze).

From Class 8, Tanishqa Shahu, Aafiya Baig, Soumya Papniwar and Aadhya Randive won Gold medals, Hrishita Sharma and Sidhanth Silodiya earned Silver. From Class 9, Abhirath Bansod and Anvi Shrivastava clinched Gold, Sidhishan Sahoo won two Gold medals, and Nidhyathi Bhagat secured Bronze.
