DPS (Mihan) celebrates 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour

NAGPUR: India's 77th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at Delhi Public School, Mihan, Nagpur. Retired Air Force officer Nitin Nimje served as chief guest. Chairperson and Pro-Vice Chairperson Tulika Kedia, Director Savita Jayaswal and Treasurer Indrajeet Parganiha were present in virtual mode, and all extended Republic Day greetings.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem.
Principal Nidhi Yadav encouraged students to follow constitutional values, excel in education and sports, and become responsible and disciplined citizens of the country. Chief guest Nitin Nimje shared his experience from the Indian Navy and spoke to students on discipline, courage and responsible citizenship.
The ceremony featured a Scholars Badge Ceremony honouring students who achieved A1 rank for three consecutive years, and recognised sportspersons who represented Delhi Public School, Mihan, in national and international sports competitions.
Patriotic poems, lezim, poetry and folk dances were performed during the ceremony. The ceremony concluded with a message of unity and discipline for building a strong and progressive India.
