St. Ursula hosts sky exploration night

NAGPUR: Principal Sheetal Peter and Vice Principal Vishal Peter led the event with support from Manager Rachna Singh. Space coordinator Arti Nadupuru and educators Pallavi Baitule, Shivani Bansode, Sadaf Ansari, Prantap Upreti, and Tarun Sharma organised the sky observation programme.

Participants observed the Moon's craters and Jupiter with its four visible moons: Io, Europa, Callisto, and Ganymede. A guided sky tour helped families identify the Orion Belt and bright stars.

The Space Lab Tour allowed parents and students to explore space instruments and demonstrations. Astronomy games included Moon Matchup, Dress Up the Astronaut, Earth Explorer Challenge, and Ring the Planet. Rocket-launching activities with hydro rockets, stomp rockets, and pop rockets were held.
