St. Ursula students hoist Tricolour using mechanical models of historic landmarks

NAGPUR: As the nation witnessed the National Flag soaring across India, St. Ursula Girls’ High School & Jr. College created a moment of pride, wonder and innovation.

In a first-of-its-kind competition, Ursula girls beautifully blended patriotism with technology. They designed models of the Red Fort, Gateway of India and other historic landmarks, and used ingenious mechanical techniques to hoist the Tricolour—leaving guests and parents amazed by their skill, creativity and technical intelligence.

The Ursula quadrangle resonated with speeches, soulful patriotic songs dances and a stirring skit, as young hearts brought the spirit of patriotism alive through every word, note and step. 🇮🇳

“India’s future is getting technically equipped at our school,” said Principal Mrs. Sheetal Peter, reflecting on the young innovators who are learning to combine creativity with technology.

School Manager Mrs. Rachna Singh challenged the students to become a drug-free, skilled and technologically empowered generation—young citizens capable of building a stronger India.

Chief Guest Rev. Sunil Godbole, along with Guests of Honour the senior staff members, Mrs. Jyoti Azim and Mrs. Elizabeth Tode, graced the occasion.
