St. Ursula celebrates National Science Day

NAGPUR: St. Ursula celebrated National Science Day on February 28, 2026, honouring Nobel Prize-winning physicist Sir C.V. Raman. The programme began with praise and worship, followed by an offering of tribute to Sir C.V. Raman.

Students of Class V presented a dance on Pollution to Solution. Students of Class VI and VII presented performances on Renewable Energy and Clean India and Future City 2050 respectively. Class VIII students presented a mime act on Misuse and Good Use of Technology. Class IX students held a panel discussion on Use of Science and Technology for Sustainable development. Sonakshi Koche delivered a speech on the contributions of Sir C.V. Raman.

Ramesh Harde, Deputy Education Officer, was the chief guest and delivered a motivational speech. Hanshika Ramteke and Tahura Khan conducted the programme. Prashansa D' Lima proposed the vote of thanks.

School Manager Rachana Singh, Principal Sheetal Peter, General Administrator Parvati Joseph, AHM Vishal Peter, Science Head Monica Patle, and Science teachers Lata Palaskar, Suhita Tanikonda, and Ashrita Bhelwa organised the event.
