St. Ursula marks 169th Founders' Day with solemn commemoration

NAGPUR: St. Ursula Girls' High School and Jr. College, Nagpur, celebrated its 169th Founders' Day with a solemn programme commemorating the legacy, vision and values of its founders. The Rt. Rev. Paranjyothy Sandela, Bishop of Nagpur Diocese, Moses Palparti, Chairman, Area Committee and Treasurer, MRBE, Mala Singh, Trustee, MRBE, and Sanjay Singh, Secretary, All Saints' Cathedral, attended the occasion, along with pastors, heads of various institutions, Pastorate Committee members, retired staff, PTA Executive Members and other well-wishers.
The celebration commenced with the School Anthem, followed by a Praise and Worship session. The High School Teachers' Choir presented a special song during the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Students' Choir performed, and intercessory prayers and the blessing of the flag added spiritual significance to the occasion.
The Rt. Rev. Paranjyothy Sandela delivered a reflection on the Word of God. Manager Rachana Singh extended her warm greetings to the gathering. Principal Sheetal Peter presented the School Report, highlighting the institution's achievements and milestones.
Sonia Singh, Principal of Bishop Cotton CBSE School and President of the St. Ursula Alumni Association, delivered a speech recalling her memories and applauding the school's growth. The programme was anchored by students, and Shobha Salve proposed the Vote of Thanks. The celebration concluded with a Hymn of Gratitude and Closing Prayer.
