Bhavan's BVM SKN blesses Class X students at Aasheervachanam ceremony

NAGPUR: Bhavan's B.P. Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, organised the ceremonial function Aasheervachanam on January 29, 2026, to bless Class X students. Air Marshal Ajay Kumar Pan, AVSM, VSM, SMSO Maintenance Command (MC) Head Quarter, Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur, was the chief guest. "A good human being is valued than a successful one," he stated.
Class teachers Manisha Rathkanthiwar, Vani Shende, Sonia Nare, Shikha Chauhan, Sonali Dey and Nandita Deshpande addressed their respective classes and blessed the students with words of guidance and good wishes for their future.
Class X students lit earthen lamps on a decorated map of India, symbolising truth, knowledge and their step into a new phase of life. Principal Lalit Dinkar Joshi gave a recitation from the Taittiriya Upanishad, and the students took a pledge on its values.
The chief guest urged the students to step into the future with courage, confidence and a strong sense of purpose, saying that success is not measured by marks alone but by the strength of one's character and the values one upholds. He gave examples from the lives of personalities and poets including Harivansh Rai Bachhan and Sohanlal Diwedi, and shared his own life experiences.
Parents Hemant Punyani and Dr. Deepali Mohite shared their memories and experiences with the school. Class X students presented a contribution to the school.

The function was held under the guidance of Principal Lalit Dinkar Joshi and Vice Principal Manisha Sharma. Monesh Thorat was the overall incharge of the programme and Aruna Upgade was the assistant incharge. The proceedings were conducted by Nilima Handa, and Poonam Manni proposed the vote of thanks.
