DPS (Kamptee Road) Grade Nursery-Dolphin students present assembly on screen time

NAGPUR: The students of Grade Nursery- Dolphin of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur presented an engaging morning assembly on the theme ‘Less Screen, More Smiles’. Through a lively skit, the young learners portrayed how excessive screen time can keep a child engrossed in mobile phones and social media, taking away precious moments of real childhood.
The skit beautifully highlighted the harmful effects of excessive screen usage and reminded everyone about the joy of exploring the world beyond screens. Towards the end, the introduction of the real treasures of childhood was done, including a teddy bear, books, a ball, storybooks and a paint box.
The assembly concluded on a joyful note with a dance performance. The students conveyed a message that childhood is meant to be lived, explored and enjoyed through real experiences rather than being spent behind screens.
