DPS (Kamptee Road) Grade VII-B students mark International Day of Peace

NAGPUR: Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur conducted an assembly on 23rd September, 2026 on the theme 'International Day of Peace – Building a World of Harmony and Hope' presented by the students of Grade VII-B. The assembly aimed to spread awareness about the importance of peace, harmony, empathy and mutual respect, while encouraging the students to become responsible and compassionate global citizens.
The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by a positive affirmation and a speech on the significance of peace in our homes, schools and communities. The highlight of the assembly was a skit that beautifully portrayed how empathy, patience and effective communication can resolve conflicts and build stronger relationships. The students also presented the thought for the day with its explanation, followed the news segment, keeping the students informed and engaged.
Overall, the assembly was inspiring, engaging, reinforcing the values of peace, unity and mutual respect.
