MKH Sancheti hosts SANDHOOM 2026 inter-school competition

NAGPUR: With immense excitement, enthusiasm, and a spirit of healthy competition, MKH Sancheti Public School successfully hosted its much-awaited annual inter-school competition, SANDHOOM 2026, on 22 August 2026. Based on the theme "Beyond the Rainbow Arc," the mega event provided a colourful and dynamic platform for young minds from the Foundation Stage to Primary levels to explore and showcase their creative, artistic, and literary talents.

The event witnessed participation of 350 students from 14 schools, including an outstation delegation from Yavatmal, making SANDHOOM 2026 a grand regional celebration of talent and creativity. Little Jewels School received the Maximum Participation Award with a contingent of 48 students.

The event was formally inaugurated by Principal Ms. Himadyuti Shrivastava, in the presence of the 18 expert judges. The inauguration was followed by a brief welcome dance and song, setting a cheerful tone for the day.

The competition featured seven specially designed events for different age groups: Nursery: Color Splash – Coloring Competition LKG: Rainbow Impression – Finger Dabbing Activity UKG: Rainbow Rhythm – Poem Recitation Classes I & II: Tribal King Crown Making and Envelope Decoration Classes III to V: Garden in a Tray and Envelope Making* Adding energy and charm to the proceedings, the event was wonderfully anchored by Deputy Head Boy Sthitadhi Roy and Deputy Head Girl Plaksha Barve, who kept the audience engaged and ensured a smooth flow throughout the programme.

To maintain high standards of evaluation, a distinguished panel of 18 expert judges from diverse art, creative, and literary fields was invited to assess the participants. Their expertise and impartial evaluation added credibility and excellence to the competition.

The event was not limited to competitions alone. To make the occasion more enjoyable and engaging for parents, a variety of fun-filled games were organised. The atmosphere became even more with a flash mob dance, which delighted the audience and added a lively touch to the celebrations.

The much-awaited prize distribution ceremony brought an added sense of excitement and pride. First, Second, Third, Special, and Consolation Prizes were awarded to deserving participants in the various competitions, acknowledging their creativity, enthusiasm, performances.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Cultural Minister Aradhya Kachade, who expressed sincere gratitude to the guests, judges, participating schools, students, teachers, parents, and everyone who contributed to making the event a grand success.

The entire event was conducted smoothly under the visionary guidance of Principal Ms. Himadyuti Shrivastava and Vice Principal Ms. Rutuja Pode, along with the dedicated efforts of event in-charges Ms. Smita Jadhav, Ms. Shruti Ramdhani, and Ms. Aparna Wadotkar.

SanDhoom 2026 was not merely a competition; it was a celebration of imagination, talent, confidence, creativity, and togetherness.
