NAGPUR: MKH Sancheti Public School celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme was graced by our respected Principal, Mrs. Himadyuti Shrivastava Ma’am, and Management Member, CA Gaurav Jaipuriya Sir, whose presence added dignity and significance to the occasion.

The celebration beautifully brought together the spirit of India’s freedom struggle and the aspirations of a New India. The programme commenced with a soulful patriotic group song, interwoven with powerful voices and words of India’s great freedom fighters, reminding everyone of the courage and sacrifices that won our nation its freedom.

The students presented an English speech expressing their thoughts on Independence Day. This was followed by a Sanskrit speech and Hindi and Marathi poems, reflecting the richness of India’s linguistic diversity and the shared emotion of patriotism.

Keeping with the theme of Digital India, the students presented a series of performances exploring “Freedom from the Virtual World.” Through group dances, and a thought-provoking skit, they highlighted the impact of excessive dependence on the virtual world and encouraged the audience to maintain a healthy balance between technology and real life.

The performances conveyed an important message: technology should empower us, not control us; digital progress must go hand in hand with human values, relationships and responsibility.

The address by the Principal, Mrs. Himadyuti Shrivastava Ma’am, added depth and purpose to the celebration, while the address by Management Member CA Gaurav Jaipuria Sir further encouraged the students to become responsible citizens and contributors to the India of tomorrow.

The programme concluded with a powerful speech by a Class XI student, bringing together the central ideas of freedom, responsibility, technological progress and the making of a stronger New India.

The celebration was a blend of patriotism, creativity, technology, reflection and youthful expression, leaving the audience with the message that the freedom achieved by our forefathers must be honoured by using our opportunities wisely and building an India that is not only digitally advanced but also compassionate, responsible and deeply rooted in its values.
