Bhavan's BVM SKN students celebrate 77th Republic Day

NAGPUR: Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Sri Krishna Nagar, Nagpur, resonated with pride and patriotism as it celebrated the 77th Republic Day, a day that echoes the soul of a sovereign nation. The solemn ceremony began with the dignified unfurling of the National Flag by Smt. Padmini Jog, Kendra Committee Member,Nagpur Kendra and School Management Committee Member,Bhavan’s B.P.Vidya Mandir Srikrishna Nagar,Nagpur as the stirring notes of the National Anthem filled the air, uniting every heart in reverence and gratitude and as a symbol of respect and sustainable growth of the nation. With utmost pride and discipline, the school’s NCC cadets paid tribute to the National Flag by rendering a dignified “Rashtriya Salute”.
Miss Saanvi Fadnavis’ welcome address beautifully highlighted the sanctity of the Constitution and the sacrifices that shaped our freedom, igniting a deep sense of national pride and responsibility among the gathering. The Chief Guest Smt. Padmini Jog was felicitated with a sapling by the school captains Junior Mast. Parv Golecha and Miss. Deepika Tahlayani reflecting the institution’s commitment to nurturing both nature and nation. What followed was a tapestry of talent and emotion—a harmonious symphony by the Bhavan’s B.P. Bal Mandir students, soul-stirring patriotic songs by the Vidya Mandir students, and graceful dance performances that spoke the language of devotion and unity beyond words.
The emotional crescendo of the programme was the bilingual speeches in English and Hindi by Mast. Aaradhya Lanjewar and Miss Preet Kukreja respectively which stood as a powerful tribute to India’s cultural diversity, timeless wisdom, and constitutional values.
The Chief Guest Smt. Padmini Jog madam delivered a speech, highlighting India’s rich culture and values. She emphasized the significance of “Namaskar” and the national flag, symbolizing pride and identity. Madam praised India’s democracy and the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’- The world is one family. She paid tribute to freedom fighters and acknowledged the Indian Armed Forces’ vigilance and courage.Motivating students, she quoted – ‘Good, better, best
– never let it rest, till good is better and better is best’ encouraging them to strive for
excellence. She emphasized the importance of respecting parents and teachers,and also urged parents to listen patiently to their children.Madam shared an inspiring story about Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, motivating students to dream big,work hard,and remain humble.
The occasion was further enriched by the release of the 18th issue of the school newsletter, a compilation that mirrored the perseverance, creativity, and dedication of the school community.
The ceremony was honoured by the gracious presence of eminent dignitaries, Shri Nilesh Sindhwani Joint Secretary (EPTA), the Principal Shri Lalit Dinkar Joshi, and other respected guests and parents.
Miss Manasvi Banode proposed the formal vote of thanks and expressed sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making the celebration. The comperers, including Miss Devesha Srivastava and Miss Bhumi Patel added grace and clarity with their eloquence, seamlessly connecting with the diverse audience.
