Bhavan's BVM SKN students observe Republic Day

NAGPUR: Republic Day celebrated with great joy at Bhavans B.P. Vidya Mandir, Shrikrishna Nagar

The 77th Republic Day of India was observed at Bhavans B.P. Vidya Mandir, Shrikrishna Nagar, Nagpur with great joy, pride and a spirit of patriotism. This day is the echo of the soul of a sovereign nation. The programme was inaugurated by the hands of Mrs. Padmini Jog, Centre Committee member, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Centre, by hoisting the national flag. After this, the stirring tunes of the national anthem filled the entire atmosphere with reverence and gratitude. Mr. Nilesh Sindhwani, Joint Secretary (EPTA), was present as another distinguished guest. On this occasion, the chief guest was welcomed with a bouquet and a plant, which is a symbol of the institution's commitment to the protection of both nature and the nation.

Mrs. Padmini Jog Madam, in her speech, highlighted the rich culture and values of India. Explaining the importance of 'Namaskar and the national flag, she said that these are symbols of our pride and national identity. Madam praised the democracy of India and emphasised the great philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" – that is, the whole world is one family. Recalling the invaluable contribution of the freedom fighters to the country and their saga of glory, she praised the alertness, courage and bravery of the Indian armed forces. Miss Sanvi Fadnavis's welcome speech expressed in an emotive manner the sanctity of the Indian Constitution and the invaluable sacrifices of the freedom struggle.

After this, a beautiful confluence of talent and emotions was seen in the programme. A group song presented by the students of Bal Mandir, patriotic songs by the students of Vidya Mandir dance performances, which went beyond words and expressed the feeling of devotion, unity and love for the country.

The emotional peak of the programme was adorned with speeches delivered in English and Hindi. In particular, the students, in their addresses, presented the cultural diversity, eternal knowledge and constitutional values of India.

The programme concluded successfully under the skilful guidance of the school's Principal Mr. Lalit Dinkar Joshi. Vice Principal Mrs. Manisha Sharma, programme in-charge Mr. Dinesh Salunke and assistant in-charge Mrs. Sheetal Gujar, and all the teachers made their important contribution to the success of the programme. The stage was conducted by Miss Devesha Shrivastava and Miss Bhumi Patel.

To celebrate the glory of the golden history of national independence, we hold national festivals. To carry forward this tradition of national pride, the 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pomp in the courtyard of the Bhavans Shrikrishna Nagar school.

The beginning of this auspicious and joyful programme was made by the hands of chief guest Mrs. Padmini Jog, Centre Committee member, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Nagpur Centre, Nagpur, and School Management Committee member, Bhavans B.P. Vidya Mandir Shrikrishna Nagar, Nagpur, by performing the flag salutation of the tricolour, which is a symbol of the honour of India. The respected chief guest, the N.C.C. squad and everyone present gave an honoured salute to the national flag fluttering with great splendour, singing the national anthem. On this proud occasion the atmosphere became exuberant with patriotism. After the flag salutation, the guests were welcomed with a plant.

Chief guest Mrs. Padmini Jog, through her speech, impressed the students as well as the audience and convinced them of the importance of Namaskar and yoga practice. She also gave a valuable message to the parents, saying that children are the future of India, so take good care of them. She also guided the students by narrating incidents from the life of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

The students of Bal Mandir and Vidya Mandir expressed love for the country through songs, with their melodious voices. The audience was delighted by the very sweet voices of these children. The child artists of Vidya Mandir presented a view of the rich cultural tradition of India through dance and displayed the feeling of unity in diversity.

In the presence of the chief guest and other dignitaries, an edition of the newsletter, presenting a glimpse of the school's many kinds of achievements, countless activities and other programmes, was released.

Another dignitary, Mr. Nilesh Sindhwani, Joint Secretary (EPTA), attended the programme and added to its grace. The student girls Miss Devesha Shrivastava and Miss Bhumi Patel conducted the programme, while Miss Manasvi Banode gave the vote of thanks.

The programme went off very well under the skilful guidance of the school's Principal Mr. Lalit Dinkar Joshi. Programme in-charge Mr. Dinesh Salunke, assistant in-charge Mrs. Sheetal Gujar and all the teachers made an important contribution to the success of the programme.
